Digital DNA A Superb Sequence of Events
The Blueface Team hit the road again on Tuesday, June 6 — setting off to Belfast for mixing, mingling and a host of great speakers at Digital DNA 2017. Now in it’s fourth year, the leading business and technology show aims to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge they to implement digital strategies.
Digital leaders-in-their-field shared their insights and the actions they have taken to help them grow and engage with their audience. Same as 2016, the event took place in St. George’s Market Belfast, which is a pleasant contrast to the traditional main-stage x workshop corporate venue.
The team spent the day learning from great speakers across a range of digital marketing topics including; data security, traditional transformation and much more.
My personal highlight was Google Ireland Head of Sales, Ruth McEntee’s excellent talk on storytelling. Dara McMahon Director Digital Experience at Aer Lingus, and Senior Sales at Twitter, Greg Owens also delivered a superb talk on the day.

After the team’s head was full of industry-lead wisdom, it was time for a lunch and then it was time to hit the links… the err… virtual links. We had a few swings on a virtual reality golf course but it became quickly apparent that our team are no better on a virtual course than they are in real life.

The event finished up with an exclusive Digital DNA Dinner and Award Ceremony in the beautiful St.Annes Cathedral.

Blueface would like to congratulation all nominees and winners of the Digital DNA Award Ceremony and the organisers for what was a beautiful meal.
