Setting a Christmas Message and Time of Day

You can learn how to set your greeting using the video above but if you prefer to follow along line-by-line, check out the quick step by step below.
Log In: To set a greeting and Time of Day rules, visit the Blueface UC Portal. You’ll need to visit the Media Section and the Callflow Designer to get yourself set up.
Record: Record a media file and upload it by visiting the Media Section and using the click and drag wizard.
Callflow: Once uploaded, visit the Callflow Section to activate Time of Day and Seasonal Greeting.
Time of Day: Select the Callflow you wish to add seasonal settings to, click and drag the phone element into a time-of-day element. Select the three dots and from here, set your time of day, week, month and year.
Want to set your new holiday greeting? Drag a play icon into the call flow designer, prior to the phone element, and select an audio file from the drop down list.
Christmas Message Script
Wondering what to put as your holiday season message? Feel free to take this sample below and use it as your own!
Happy Christmas from everyone at [Business Name]!.
We will be spending some quality time with our friends and families this holiday season, and as such, we will be operating under special Christmas hours.
Please be aware that our office will be closed on December 25, 26 and January 1, 2019. Business will return to normal operations on January 6 but until then, have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Near Year!
We hope this helps your business maintain continuity during the holiday season. Please get in touch if you should need assistance!
Recording Best Practices
Recording: Find in a quiet room, close all windows to the outside and take your time (not too long though!).
Advanced Tip: Record with a microphone, download free software such as Audacity to balance the sound of your audio, clear up noise disturbance. Maybe add a license free sleigh bell track to make it extra festive!
