On Thursday, 29th of September, Blueface took part in EXIM Summit in Croke Park. EXIM Summit is Ireland’s Export-Import & Global Trade Conference targeted at exporters, importers, global traders and professional service providers.

The day was filled with great talks and speakers, among others we had the pleasure to listen to the most influential economist in Ireland and the UK, David McWilliams. He shared his views on the global marketplace, Brexit and the aftermath of the Apple Tax situation.

Workshops on the day included Global Logistics, Brexit: Implications and Opportunities, Export-Import Best Practices, Legal Aspects of Global Trade, International Marketing Opportunities and Marketing your Export Business.

The speaker line-up also featured successful international entrepreneurs including Catherine Doody from The World Bank, Harry Hughes, CEO of Portwest, Donald Fitzmaurice of Brandtone, Airline Captain and founder of luxury confectionary brand Be Sweet Company Bernice Moran, and Anthony Quigley, founder of the global success story Digital Marketing Institute.

Exim summit is a great opportunity which aims to bring together the companies who want to provide a platform for international business growth and networking.

Blueface was educating visitors and exhibitors of the conference about the features of cloud-based phone systems that can help them to expand to international markets in a scalable and cost-effective manner.

Using hosted PBX phone system allows any business to test the market they are looking into. They can see how much reach their product could gain or even start selling their product or service within an international market from their headquarters without needing to take the plunge in setting up a physical presence.

All that is needed to achieve this is a virtual, localised phone number that will give the business a local presence. These international numbers allow potential customers or partners to call the business at a local rate while you receive the call at no charge.

Even if you didn’t have a chance to attend the conference but you would like to know more about the deployment of this solution in your business, get in touch with one of our unified communications experts today on sales@blueface.com or call 01 524 2225.
