Attendees to the Blueface UK Unified Communications Partner Launch were treated to a preview demonstration of Blueface’s new hosted voice platform in London on Tuesday, 26th of July. A mixture of current partners of Blueface’s hosted voice service and industry channel members convened in the comfortable surrounds of Enterprise Ireland’s Shaftesbury Avenue headquarters ahead of the platform’s general release in September 2016.

Blueface co-founder Feargal Brady opened up the event, telling the story of Blueface’s evolution over the past 12 years, the vision for how communications will change our working lives and trends within the broader telecommunications market.

The Blueface team were joined by Bob Mercer, Group Manager Communications Business Unit at Panasonic System Communications Europe. Blueface partner with Panasonic to provide end users with best in class IP handsets which integrate seamlessly with Blueface’s cloud phone system. Bob addressed the industry members present on the technology and innovation present in the Panasonic SIP range as well as upcoming plans for the global hardware innovator to provide video communications natively in the handsets.

A comprehensive product capability overview was then delivered by General Manager Brian Martin with a final wrap up introduction to the UK partner program presented by UC consultant Will Richards.

We would like to express our thanks to existing partners and channel members for attending as Blueface gears up to bring a best in class hosted voice platform to market with a competitive offering across the UK.
