Once downloaded, check your email inbox for login details, sent to you by the Blueface Team.
Use the Blueface UC Portal to allocate Softphones to Users and review your credentials.
Softphone Access | Portal Setup
1. Visit https://uc-portal.blueface.com and enter the credentials sent to you by the Blueface Team to log in to the UC Portal.
2. Forget Password? Click the [Forget Password] link to retrieve login details.
3. Once you log in, you will be greeted with the Blueface Dashboard.
4. Navigate to the Devices tab on the Blueface Portal Dashboard (pictured).
5. Once linked to your account, your Softphone will appear here.
6. Click the Edit button [pencil] next to the device.
7. After clicking the Edit icon, the Device Details window will display.
8. You will see your Username and Password. Usernames end with @blueface.com.
9. Open your Softphone App, downloaded from the Apple and Android Stores.
10. Log in with the instructions on the next slide. Otherwise, check your email inbox.
Login to Softphone | In-App
1. Open the Softphone App and enter your username and password to log in.
2. Toggle Keep Password on to save your password when logging in.
3. Skip logging in altogether by toggling Auto-Login to on.
4. Users can also use Touch ID to log in with compatible devices.
Softphone Dialpad | In-App
1. Select the Dialpad [Phone] icon on the Softphone’s main footer menu.
2. Use the revealed diapad to call external or internal numbers.
3. Dial VM or 171 for access to Voicemail from your handset.
4. All voicemails can be managed via the UC Portal and downloaded for local review.
Softphone Contacts | In-App
1. Select the People [Contacts] icon on the Softphone’s main footer menu.
2. The Softphone will automatically import numbers linked to your account.
3. Press the [ + ] to reveal the add new contact window. Enter contact details here.
4. Select a contact’s name, following by tapping their number to begin the call.
Adding New Contacts | In-App
1. Select the [ + ] in the top-right corner of the Contacts Tab.
2. You will be prompted to enter personal and contact details (email, softphone, phone).
3. Add an avatar by tapping the image or add button in the top-left corner of the screen.
4. You can add another Softphone by tapping [ + ] icon on the Add Contact screen.
On Call Options | Menu
Mute your voice during a call.
Keypad for number input on call.
Speaker, headset or native audio.
Add call to an existing call.
Hold your existing call.
On Call Options | More…
1. Select the [ More… ] icon while on a call to reveal additional options.
2. Call Statistics: Reveals current call statistics such as duration.
3. Call Transfer: Transfer your call to another internal or external number. See next slide.
4. Call Quality: During a call you can see the call quality in the top-left of your screen.
Transfering Calls | On Calls
Step 1
Click the [ + ] button to open the Softphone’s Dialpad.
Step 2
Enter the number of the person you wish to transfer the call to.
Step 3
This will start another call and hold the initial call so you can check availability.
Step 4
Once both calls are active, click the [ … ] and select Transfer to the Other Call.
Call History Tab
1. Select the Call History tab on the Softphone footer menu.
2. All incoming, outgoing and missed calls will display in this section.
3. Return calls and review details by selecting the [ i ] icon beside the caller.
4. View a summary of your calls by selecting the person’s name or number.
Setting Tab
1. Select the Settings tab, denoted by a cog on the Softphone footer menu.
2. Preferences allows you to customise your Softphone App.
3. Advanced allows you to check stats, reset and toggle verbose logging.
4. About allows you to check the Softphone App version.
Setting Tab | About
1. Title: View the title and marketplace from which the app was downloaded.
2. Version: View the version of your Blueface Softphone Application.
3. Misc Information: Pertaining to copyright and access.
Setting Tab | Preferences
1. Mobile Data Network: Allows or blocks mobile data use on the Softphone.
2. Reachability: Change how Softphone acts when running in the background. Enabling Improve Reachability uses more data but improves background App performance.
3. Call Handling: Toggle Native Integration on or off. Native Integration is essential for high quality call handling on iPhone.
4. Incoming Call: Customise ringtones, contact image, missed call alerts, trigger call waiting and Caller ID Contact Matching.
5. Outgoing Call: Turn letters to numbers on, Hide Caller ID and Default Account History.
6. Phone Number: Enable Single-Touch to Call and modify Digits to Match.
7. Call Forwarding: Set up call forwarding from your Blueface Softphone by selecting the toggle and entering a forward number.
8. Login: Toggle Auto-Login and activate Touch ID on compatible mobile devices.

1. Verbose Logging: Toggle on or off.
2. Call Statistics: Review your call statistics.
3.Caution: Please familiarise yourself with Softphone prior to customising your Softphone Settings.
